Service Description

BOOKING My service appointments are scheduled in two four-hour blocks starting at 10am and 2pm 7 days a week. Although I have allotted 4 hours for each block, you may use as little as one hour or as much as 6 hours per session. I accomplish this by starting the 10am session promptly at 10am, while the 2pm session is a flexible start as I never know when the first appointment will be completed. Most days the 2pm session starts between 1pm and 4pm but could begin earlier or even later. I contact the 2pm sessions during the mornings to give an estimated arrival time so please consider this when choosing a 2pm session. Should that arrival time not be available for you when I contact you, I will reschedule at your convenience. For those requiring emergency repairs or before/after-hour appointment times, I will make allowances for these appointments, but you must contact me directly to schedule. PRICING I show up to each service session ready to work at my standard hourly rate of $100 for the first hour, which is my minimum, and then $30 for every 30 minutes I spend thereafter. The time starts when I arrive and ends when the work is complete, the site is cleaned to your satisfaction, and all tools are loaded. When on-site and I see the project firsthand, I may offer you a flat rate fee to complete the project. You are under no obligation to accept the offer as I will honor the standard hourly rate if you prefer. MATERIALS Any materials used will be billed at my cost, for midsized to larger projects I normally do a phone sale at the local box store where I shop for the material and the store calls you to pay with a debit or credit card. If you prefer, you may pick up whatever materials you think that the project will need before I arrive as I charge my standard hourly rate to go shopping or wait for customer-supplied material to arrive while I'm on the site. SERVICES Although you may hire me for a specific project, my truck is always loaded with tools to complete a variety of tasks including rough and finish carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. I also have such amenities as a tile wet saw, laser levels, cordless power tools, ladders and scaffolding, etc. So you may find me completing many more tasks than you originally thought. PAYMENT Payment in full is due at the time of completion, I prefer cash or bank transfer with Zelle® (most banks offer this service which is safe, secure, and free to use) but will accept checks and credit cards (3%fee).

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule please call or text me at least 2 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. Any cancelations later than this will be subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. I am happy to be flexible, please just let me know with as much warning as possible so that I can try to fill the time slot. Thanks.
